I’m Ria — I create personal, sentimental, and cinematic wedding films, (and try not to cry while editing them), specialising in Super 8 and camcorder formats. Based in Bristol, I’ve been making film and TV full-time since 2019. I’m drawn to anything nostalgic, and I have a special love for analogue formats like film and tape.

I’m absolutely obsessed with analogue filmmaking. There’s something about the warmth and character of Super 8 film that just can’t be beat, and I love the rawness that comes with shooting on old camcorders. That’s why I always bring a camcorder to every wedding, handing it out to guests so they can capture those raw, unfiltered moments that you wouldn’t get anywhere else. It’s why I shoot on Super 8 — because there’s something about the grain, the imperfections, the feel of it that digital just can't replicate! I’m all about making films that have real character and soul.
