I’m Ria

Black and white photo of a person smiling, wearing a leopard print jacket, sitting outdoors on a pebble beach.

I'm a filmmaker from Bristol with a love for music, nostalgia, and golden hour light.

I picked up a camera young and never really put it down (my grandad's old camcorder, as it happens, which I still use at weddings today). After studying filmmaking at college and university, I found my way to weddings in 2019 and it felt like the most natural thing in the world

I especially love analogue filmmaking, shooting on Super 8 and handing a camcorder to guests to capture the moments nobody else will. I want your wedding film to feel warm, real and full of personality.

When I'm not filming weddings, I'm usually wild swimming or somewhere out in the world in my campervan.

my approach

My approach to wedding videography is discreet, and I aim to capture all the important moments of the day while being as unobtrusive as possible.

I understand that my couples want to feel comfortable and relaxed on their special day, and that being followed around by a camera can be intrusive and distracting, so I keep my approach relaxed and low-key. I capture everything naturally, without getting in the way, and if you fancy slipping away for a few relaxed couple shots, we’ll make it easy and fun, no pressure!

This approach allows me to create a more natural, authentic film that truly reflects the emotions and atmosphere of the day.
