One of my favourite things to do at every wedding I film is hand out a mini DV camcorder to your guests. It’s a fun way to capture all those candid, behind-the-scenes moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Your guests get the chance to document the day in their own way, adding a personal touch to your film. I deliver the footage as a separate video as well as weave any gems into your film!
What is Mini DV?
Mini DV is a tape video format that was popular in the late 90s and early 2000s. It’s known for its distinct look, with a slightly grainy, nostalgic feel that captures video in a unique, raw way. The footage has a retro vibe that digital cameras just can’t replicate (and I looove).
While it may seem old-school, there’s something special about the imperfections and charm that come with shooting on Mini DV. It’s perfect for couples who want something a little different, a little more personal, and a lot more nostalgic

You’ll receive any guest footage as a separate video, and I’ll also incorporate any great moments into your final wedding film if they fit. It’s my way of capturing those little, real moments that make your day special
